Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ONRCRD ("ONRCRD", "we", "us", or "the Service"), a tool that discovers and recovers archived Twitter/X posts from the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

ONRCRD searches publicly available web archives for snapshots of Twitter/X profiles and posts, extracts recovered tweets, and presents them for review and export. The Service depends on third-party archives and does not guarantee that any particular tweet, account, or time period is archived or recoverable.

ONRCRD is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitter, X Corp, or the Internet Archive.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Authentication is provided by Clerk; your use of the Service is also subject to Clerk's terms for the authentication flow.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes, such as journalism, research, archiving, and fact-checking. You must not:

• Use the Service to harass, stalk, dox, threaten, or harm any individual.
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right, including privacy and data protection laws.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Misrepresent recovered content or present archived material in a knowingly deceptive context.
• Resell or redistribute the Service or its output as a competing product without written permission.

You are solely responsible for how you use, publish, and attribute content recovered through the Service.

The Service offers a free plan and paid subscription plans billed monthly through Stripe, as well as one-time credit top-up purchases. Credits are consumed when you run searches and related processing jobs.

• Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Monthly plan credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not roll over.
• Purchased top-up credits roll over while your paid subscription remains active.
• Free plan credits are one-time and do not renew.
• Search results are retained for 90 days on all plans and are deleted after expiry.
• Prices may change with notice; changes apply to future billing periods only.

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

Recovered tweets and profile data originate from third-party archives and platforms. That content remains the property of its original authors and rights holders. The availability, completeness, and accuracy of archived content is outside our control. Your use of third-party content may be subject to the terms and policies of the originating platform and applicable copyright law, including fair use.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by ONRCRD and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding. We claim no ownership over third-party content recovered through the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recovered data will be complete or accurate. You should verify recovered content against the original archive source before relying on it.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ONRCRD and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for violations of these Terms, abuse, or non-payment, with or without notice. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers and limitations of liability) survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
